Melinda (Mindy) Parker, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, graduating in 2008. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Prior to joining Tareen Dermatology in 2016, Mindy worked in dermatology, gastroenterology, and hospital medicine. Her broad medical background provided her with invaluable experiences and knowledge, and ultimately led her to discover her passion for dermatology. She enjoys helping patients to achieve their optimal skin health from both a medical and cosmetic standpoint. In her free time, Mindy enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family & friends. She resides in Lakeville with her husband, Dan, and her 4 young children.
